We're (i.e. me, 8bit, & my otouto) wondering whether this thing's name should be changed from Fulgoris Caelucetea to Giga Caelucetea. The first one ("lightning sky whale") makes more sense, while the second ("giant sky whale") just sounds cool. Dunno which one to stick with...

for the helpful tips that made this drawing an improvement over its previous version. Not sure how I really did with this thing, but it did take a few hours at McDonald's to work on...
Hmmm... *strokes goatee* given the size of this thing in the illustration, I think burning its corpse would take a heckuvalot of time. Of course that's only if some random magician doesn't pull out an instant-incineration spell out of their ass (which I'm hoping someone does have on hand. Seriously, f-cking look at the size of that thing. I swear I didn't think it'd look this big once it was properly illustrated, but this is pretty much it.). I'm saying this coz that thing's dangerously close to land. It'll crash any minute now.
