[IBO] Where the Wolf Rests

    It's been weeks since Iron-Blooded Orphans finally concluded, and since then I've thought of making something to celebrate that; all of the preliminary sketches and ideas I had involved a battle of some sort, but I ultimately decided to draw something a little more subdued, stationary, and somewhat calm, as I thought that it reflected my thoughts on the ending of the series more.

    And boy, what an ending it was—the emotional weight was genuinely heartwarming, the final battle was intense and brutal, and the moment that wrapped everything up felt like a satisfying conclusion for a series that had my full attention for the entirety of its run. Not to mention that there's just so much to sink your teeth into regarding its lore and setting. It's far from being a perfect series, of course, and most certainly isn't without its fair share of flaws, but I still feel that it managed to portray a compelling story despite all those. 

    As far as I know, it looks like this is as far as its story goes... So, as a fan that really grew to love this series, I just want to show a little bit of appreciation to Mari Okada and the rest of the IBO team for what they've started, and eventually bringing it to a satisfying close. It's been a long, hard trek to get there, and I couldn't be happier for it.
